adjustable lowering links
new member,been around since july ,06. installing adj. links,measured them 1.5 ins.longer,now oil plug has 2 ins. clearence ,lowered the front 1.5 ins. is this okay for normal rideing. thanks

2 inches is really low, speed bumps, pot holes , shit, just braking over bumps could drive it into the pavement...
I wouldn't go that low on the street,
infact that is the minimum clearance we must run on our bikes for Canadian drag racing series!

I dropped mine 1 in front and rear, and still broke the protective casting in front of the drain plug. Am lots more careful now but still manage to scrape it now and again. I did put on extensions without changing the rear adjustment, so it lifted it probably back to stock heighth, helping some.....TB

I dropped the front one centimetre, 0.4 inches and for road riding I leave it like that with the rear end at standard height.
At the track I strap the front right down and lower the rear three inches. If you want to ride on the road at that height you need to modify the sump or you're going to rip the drain plug off.
