I know this is crazy but...???
OK, i know someones going to have lots of nice things to say to me about asking this BUT is there any way one would be able to fit the zx14 engine on/in the zx10 frame. I just keep thinking how cool that would be. I mean i know people with 1000cc in 600 frames thats the only reason i asked. Be nice please

Is there any way? Yes.
Would it be cheap and easy? No.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

lol naa man, got blue ballz because my bike got stolen and i cant ride.
But I'm going to start looking into this project. Anyone know of any good fab shops in the MD VA area? Oh and thanks for not just shooting me down. I'm young (23) so still a bit of a dreamer, but hey nothing wrong with that.

the 14 won't fit between the frame rails of the 10, the swingarm pivots do not line up.
Just those 2 facts prove it is not worthy of the effort.
I have built 2 CR500 AF, stuffed CR500 engines into CR250 chasis. 1999, and 2003.
And 1 gsxr 1100, into a gsxr 750 frame circa 1988 era
The very most fundamental isues are swingarm pivot interchange, physiscal dimensions to stuff given engine into, and ability to align countershaft sproket .
I know that 2 of these are not possible, and likely the 3rd is not either....
Not a feasable project...unless you are skilled or rich enough to graft frames...
then it won't be a 10 chasis anymore..

ahhh i see, so the zx14 is to wide your saying. Yea guess if it could have been done i would have seen it by now. Still, what about like a Ducati frame. At this point i'm just asking but shoot, that would be about the only way a would buy Ducati, that way at least i wouldnt have to worry about it breaking down all the time, lol. No but really, thanks dub

for the money you would spend it would be cheaper just to build a bad ass big bore ZX10 the 1143 package on a 10 makes RIDICULOUS POWER!!!!

why RIDICULOUS is just the word i was looking for, Black please tell me more, because the local shop over here is getting rid off all the 07 ( like every other shop in the U.S.) and i can get a great deal on one. I'm really not into the turbo or nitrous thing, I like a smooth power but big bore sounds good. Link me some info when you get a chance if you would be so kind. In the mean time i'll try google, thanks

Yeah, different frame designs. It would be more trouble than its worth. For what it would cost to do that swap, you could build a 10 engine that would really haul!!!

or you could take a ZX14 and throw about 5000 or 6000 dollars at it with carbon fiber gas tank, slotted frame light weight body work and some light weight wheels and have a 450 pound ZX14 throw in Quantum Motorsports 2500 dollar Super Sport package and you would have a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!

you can put a Busa motor in a GSXR 1000... Lets see in Maryland I would go to Rickey Gadsons shop in Magnolia New Jersey (right acrros the bridge from Phili) he can get you hooked up with a good motor guy to build an 1143 ZX10 his number is 1-877-dragbike tell them Matt from Arkansas told you to call

I pay my bills and everyone eats good, whats left over is for me, i'm at a age where i want to have fun and blow some money, shoot the U.S dollar aint worth crap anymore anyway, lol, so why not spend em well you got em. Why do people put turbos in Vipers and Z06s, or why does a man with 2 kids live in a 1mil+ home. Because they can, because they want to. WHY does one need a 500lbs bike with almost 200hp... its bad a** thats why. It feels the ego we all have, or else you would just be a scooter getting 100mpg. remember if you aint living your dying. Again thanks for the info though guys
