Kawasaki Performance Parts Catalog
Did the mail man bring everyone the new parts catalog from KHI? Very very nice print job, but a few things I found surprising.
For the track, the 2007 contingency program rules are listed. Hello, but for 2007 season its a little late to be figuring out the rules.
ZX14, not many parts. Regarding exhaust systems, Muzzy is listed but Brocks/Hindle is not available!? And that is what brought my attention to shortcomings of the parts catalog.
Ok so on to the real race bike stuff-
ZX10, ZX6- many parts offered from beet nassert, ohlins to attack to akropovic. But I can't believe good stuff such as Vortex, Sharkskins, Michelins, etc are not available.
Monster branding- I flipped to branding stuff to immediately order a monster energy umbrella. No luck, plain Kawasaki only. So I thought I was greedy with umbrella. But no monster stuff period. Not chairs, jackets, t-shirts, etc etc. The monster brand is top secret.
For those who didn't get the catalog and want one, Kawi parts departments can get it for you- its part # K907PP-CAB

That's what the aftermarket is for!!! That catalog has NOTHING for us 14 owners!!!!

Got mine ..... lost mine in no time ....... Muzzy pipes are there because Kawi sponsers him...Brock doesn't have that deal with Kawi.. I do like the kawi full racing leathers ..BUT 998.00 Bucks !!!! i'll have to pass...

ya of course they have leathers, but again only the Kawi stuff and marked up through the roof in a manner they want to insure no one buys and wears the stuff in public

Such a shame that the sportbike mfrs haven't learned from HD that they could cash in on the aftermarket segment. I think brand loyalist would go the extra mile for model specific embossed accessories. Sure, they couldn't cover everything and some items you'd want to buy from an aftermarket supplier anyway based on tastes. But it seems that if they want to develop a strong following especialy for the flagship models this would help.
Maybe I'm just showing my age.

Kawi will never consider the big 14 a race bike and offer anything. And the few Muzzy parts they offer are "just 'cuz".
Look at the ZX10R or ZX6R - there's the real race parts.

Hopefully Rickey Gadson is changing what you said about the 14 Steve...
At least Kawasaki is getting more involved and opening their eyes to the DragRacing scene!!!

Rob I originally ordered your full exhaust first for my ZX14 too right after the 14 was brought to market, after enjoying one back in the day on my ZX9R Kawi when it was a bike to have. I won't go into why it is not on my bike today, but its not because I didn't want it. I'm totally satisfied and was amazedwith the level of service and delivery of the exhaust thats on it, and thats all good too.
