Catalytic converter location

Where in the exhaust system is the catalytic converter? Is it in the header after the collector or in the mufflers?

Thanks! Mine will be hanging on the wall in the shed soon. Just ordered dual Yosh slip ons and a power commander. 125 miles on it so far. I love it! I have a Turbo ZRX1200 that I built (on eBay) and it is faster but not as smooth. I live in Big Bear CA. The twisties just became more fun!

I went to the local dealer to have an appraisal done on my Vulcan Nomad. They had the 14 sitting in the show room. I asked if they had a blue ZX10. The salesman sad no, but I'll let you have that one for less than a ZX10. I made the deal and took it home.

order from your friendly local kawa dealer, comes with the grab handle

some a-hole probally left these extra un-needed, un-wanted parts in your throttle bodies. you will want to hang those next to the stock exhaust or put in the round file

go to search and type " TRE vs flies" you will find all the info you need. secondary butterfly removal is easily the most popular mod for the 14 and yeilds the biggest bang for the buck. all that is required is p/c and proper map

ummm that's my bike big, steve hasn't posted a pic. but thanks anyway. one nice thing about yoshi trc's is that they aren't real loud. important in my neck of the woods, only harley guys are aloud to have obnoxiously loud exhaust without being harrassed by the man. a guy two doors down has a v-rod and i swear he just completly gutted the stock cans, the bike sounds like total ass. he gets up at all hours of the night firess it up guns it half a dozen times then turns it off. i can litterally here him over a mile away. neighbors call the cops all the time but does no good cause he's a good o'l boy with a hog. roll threw this town on a sportbike with a side mounted tag and your getting pulled.
