A good friend is gone

My trusty ZX-14 has gone down the road to a new owner . . . time to go join the Concours 14 board for the new toy that simply MUST follow me home.

Well Steve, with my back problems the ZX-14 wasn't comfortable on the ruptured discs. The Connie allows me to sit up and be comfortable, while offering a better platform for hauling the wife or my little girls. I'll miss it but the C14 will give me most of it.

Congrats on the new bike, hope you come over to this forum still and let us know how nice the new ride really is (without bragging about the comfort level!) :P

Better keep us updated Stalwart, I really want to know how a real 14 rider likes the C14, how the fun level compares on the street. OMG a C14 turbo, I might really have to get one now. How is the handling though? I love my 14 with the bags but just a bit more comfort would be nice on long trips. My girlfriends loves my 14 but was afraid to ride it 3 hrs to Gulfshores yesterday, I can't blame her I guess. We still had a great time in the Nissan Titan.

Congrats Stalwart,
I too am having a little problem with ZX-14 withdraw. Yesterday I took the second key to the dealer that I bought the VFR.
Seeing that beautiful bike sitting all by itself I started thinking hey why not have 3 bikes right?

Then my senses brought me back to earth. Still it's hard to just leave a motorcycle that's been to 24 states in temps that ranged from 24-110 degrees F.
