tg....as you mjght remember, I have the ATP kit and am extremely happy with it. I found out the hard way that you can't push a ZX14 motor too far. I STRONGLY recommend the billet oil pan. Thats whats going on my bike.
We just went with turbo pistons(same size as stock), Carillo rods, titanium valve springs, stronger studs, and race cut transmission.
Harry will bump up the boost to probably around 400hp to the rear wheel. I'm not really sure what delineates a stage 1 from stage 2, but I would consider mine a stage 2 because of the above mods.
Greg no longer promotes or sells Mr. Turbo kits. Dunno why, but I'm kinda curious.
tg1820.....kinda go worried after you got your kit done and said you were gonna drag race it, but never heard any results from that endever. I hope you didn't spin a rod bearing like me. My best was only an 8.80 @168.....and I was just learning to ride it...the bike had a lot more left in it when I had my problem..
Should be done in about a month. I'd like to get a few runs on it before winter sets in.

Ifly
After the stage I was developed and tested. The engine was disassembled and checked, Mr Turbo pointed out that all the parts that had to be developed would require someones engine to be shipped all over the country so aftermarket parts could be devoloped! Anyway, I am glad to have the oppurtunity I have had with Terry and have been glad to wait so we could get all the parts developed sooner than later. Though I am about to bite nails into waiting the last few days before I get my hands on it!!!

Terry probably found out the truth about the "Prince" and told him what to do with himself.

I should have some final dyno #'s next week! I am trying to work it out so I can go after it shortly after I get the numbers! As soon as I can find a track I will have some times to post. But, don't expect outstanding right off! I will be starting out with it turned down and work my way up. All new set up may take some time to tame! I will post how much boost and other info,, so any sugestions will be appreciated. I am going from a TG carburated car tire bike to this,, which will have nearly twice the HP!!

When you coming my way so we can race the two fastest ZX14's in the country??
Glad to see your getting a billet oil pan!
Ryan, so you feel the billet pan is a must? I may go ahead and install it if you think it is that important.
Definatly what you need for ground clearance and to keep oil at the pickup. It's spendy, but well worth the money.

Here's a little info on the stage II dyno numbers that really impressed me! At less than 7 pounds of boost, on pump gas w/octane boost, It made 300 HP w/ 170 plus pounds of torque! Talk about street friendly!
More soon I promise!

Mr Turbo is not shooting for any number he is just working on making this the best Stage II system yet and the HP,,,,, Well, I think when posted it will speak for itself!
I believe Ifly's motor had no internal upgrades when he had his problem.
The Stage II needs after market rods, pistons, valve springs, studs, etc,,,,,,.
The Stage I kits which makes over 260 hp with no internal mods, is not intended for more than 4 to 5 pounds of boost max safely.

What kind of air filter? Got pics of air fliter installed without the lower fairing?
I like the fact it doesn't hang out there, hidden, away from sight, debris, etc...

Hey i hope this time you have more luck with your set-up. It would be nice to see fast, reliable 14's out there. I took a month off from dragracing because of the heat. I wasnt running real good #'s anyways and didnt want to feel like a pig in a blanket standing in 90+ heat and 100% humidity. I was supposed to shoot a tv commerical tomorrow at the track but it looks like rain and i found a nail in my back tire last night. I sold my last shinko u soft the other day and only have that old shitty metzler dragtech. I finally got my BMC from schnitz the other day...there really good people to deal with. I'm still shooting for a 9.0 something this year. I havent lost any weight but oh well.
On the tires suggestion...i would have to go with a MIckey or a Shinko or the New Michelin everybody is trying out. I suggest a straight link if you dont already have one. It helped my bike out alot with traction. I didnt look but are you going to run a lock-up? I have the 2 stage and once i got it set up i was pretty happy with it.
