Ken-- you're making a....... "big" impression on this site. "Weight challenged" people are coming out of the woods from all over. See what you started-- Now we're going to have to discuss tire pressure for those who are "Big Mac gifted".
Are Dubious, Smokin' and I the only ones on this site that are... "buff"?

Buff is such a relative term. When i was 280, I had a 6-pack.....wish i had photos of it, if for nothing else as motivation for me now. Weight doesnt always tell people how 'fit' some one is.
Currently though, i am fat ass, i am honest with myself.
And thanks for the welcome guys ?
Also to all the ''big riders'' where are you finding full suits at ? Had three buddies go down recent in fluke accidents, and to be honest has me a bit shaken up, and wanting some really good protection.

Seriously though: I am 6'4" 347, and truely do have large bones.
Rear view:

And as far as the twisties, the group i ride with i keep up pretty well. And i have only about 1/4'' of chicken strips. Also, with my desires for the bike and the roads i frequent, stretching and lowering were the best options. Aside from that, if i wanted to go to say the dragon, an hour worth of work will have me back to stock.
That poor bike is on the travel stops.

The exact Jacket i have is a Icon Accelerant, and i love it. It is a 3xl and they are available in 4xl as well. It has 'nylon' flexible sides, so it makes the fit perfect. It has shoulder vents, which are a blessing and a curse, b/c with them open you get a bunch of air running down your back, but that same air lifts the jacket so you have to occasionally pull it back down.
I got it from my local dealer for pretty cheap. I want to say in the neighborhood at $275, (retail is $350).
Oh and the arm length is spot on, even with my arms extended.

Hey, at least you were kind enough to wear 2 pairs of shorts... could have been scarry otherwise ... LOL
Bro, at times I have felt brave enough to wear a t shirt, but some reason, leg burns maybe, I just can't commit to shorts.
You are big dood, the fat ass 14 looks weeny under ya!
Nice bike btw... mines torn down gettin tweaked in the garage right now.
Time to get back to the table and the wrenches... later

WOW Harsh ?
See i am the opposite for some reason. I guess the years of football and having the upperbody much more protected then the lower kinda altered my perception. I NEVER ride with a t-shirt. I always have a jacket on. To me, burns on my legs would be more tolerable. Though it would suck none the less.
And yeah, i make a pretty large bike, look small....oh well, i enjoy the hell out of the bike.
Also Dubious, as creppy as it sounds, i know your bike is down, i am looking forward to its return though. You are doing a lot of things i want to do as well.

It's all in good fun bro. I am 6'4" and weigh in at 215 lbs. It's too easy to sit around and get fat. It's much harder to watch what you eat, work out and stay healthy. I work my ass off to both stay in shape and play hard. In the end, it's not about the way any of us look, it's about being around to ride your 14. You are a big guy, but at your weight, it's probably not very healthy. It would be nice to see you posting in here for a while, not in the cardiac ward of your local hospital! It sounds like you were a pretty good athlete earlier on in life so you know what to do. Your bike looks great!
Good luck and welcome to the forum.
P.S. No shorts, dude. At least wear some armor under jeans if leathers are too hot. Bohn has a mesh armored pant that works great. http://www.bohnarmor.com/

While i may be big, football played a huge role in keeping me healthy and in shape. Alittle has carried until now, b/c my blodd pressure is stil 125/65 which is about perfect. My grandfather was my size and lived until he was 84....IMO thats long enough. My family truely has large bones in it, b/c when i was 285, many people commented on how i looked ''unhealthy'' and even then i was only able to get down to 275 and that was having a nutrionist and working out about 5 hours day....so yeah not much else could have been done.
