ZX-14 question?

i have a friend of mine that has an 06 14 with 18k miles on it! and he's selling it to me for $6000! bike is in good condition and it has never been dropped,it was for commute and if i buy this bike is gonna be for drag racing! what do you guys think? is it worth it?

I would say it's worth it, if he kept up on the maintance and stuff should be fine

that is a pretty good deal make sure he kept the maintenance up on it probably needed a valve job at 15K make sure he had it done

That's a dam good price. I pulled 7633 for mine with almost 29K on her. I good cross because mine also needed that 15 wait 30k valve check.

Put a few street miles on it first to check for unusual noises or things out of adjustment.
Check chain and sprockets for wear and alignment and steering head bearings for
slack.
