PCIII Location
I know this has been discussed before but having gone throught the process yesterday and spent ~1 hour trying to get the big muther of a plug fed from the rear seat location through to the area where the connector is I gave up an mounted the PCIII on the air duct as suggested.
Could anybody who has found a way to get the plug from the rear location into the connector area give me some ideas on how they did it.
And since I'm asking; When setting the throttle position the bike has to be running., low setting no problem but do you have to pin it to get the high setting?? Don't like to WOT w/o load on the engine.
TIA

I think I loosend the tank bracket or something. I know I didn't have that difficult of a time getting the plug thru as I did, trying to get the plug disconnected..

Finally got it solved. Powercommander site and tutorials laid it out.
To set the high you meed the ignition on, bike off and a 9 v battery connected.

The other thing is that I connected the ground to the screw under the coolant overflow bottle per instructions instead of to the battery ground.
Don't seem to have any problems
