lowering with modified oil pan?
Whats up guys.. Has anyone lowered their bike more with this modifacation to the oil pan.. Modifacation meaning moved the drain plug?

almost ripped the plug out last year...havent touched it this year......I have pics on my computer at home...ill post them soon. 1 inch cut out of stock pan....

How did you have it cut out.. Did you move the plug also? Yeah, would love to see those pics, because Im doing that also probably this week...

augh i cant remember my photobucket password....i just basically milled a inch off the pan...cut some alum and had it tig welded.......milled a hole in the side of the pan and made a small bung the same thread as my drain plug.......cut a inch off the pick up and return hose...pretty easy.

how much less oil do you use now.. Sounds like a good plan, I think Im going to do mine the same way.... no problems huh?

I had mine done by drag bike direct, and they made it shorter and moved the drain plug. It still holds the same amount of oil, it just comes up higher in the sight glass. Now I have plenty of ground clearance.
