BMC Filter in Stock?
Anyone know of a company that has the BMC air filter in stock? I Called Schnitz, and there shipment is stuck in customs.

I think everyone has them on backorder, I ordered mine from schnitz last week and they said they should be ready to ship by the end of july... ordered from schnitz cause they lowere the price from 99.99to 79.99

A bunch of online stores list them but when you place it in the cart is says "backordered" or "out of stock" . I have been trying to get a street version for a while.

I'm getting the backorder bone since 6/18!!! wouldn't be so bad but they charge you as soon as you order.
then one of my buds goes to the local cycle gear and they get him one ordered and shipped in one week. he says it works great.
i want mine now! but i don't need two filters.

That's the reason I refuse to order anything that is not in stock. They should not charge your card until it ships.

Be really careful ordering from companys that charge you before an item ships!!
Ask them first if they do this and if they do buy elsewhere.
I got totally screwed by STARCYCLE.com for $800 took over 4 monthes
to get my money back,file a claim with credit card co. and a BBB report
before the assholes gave my money back!!

I got the filter a couple of days ago from schnitz, the standard version. I installed it and took the bike for a short ride. The bike is very snappy. You can see a big difference in the filter design compared to stock. The bike is breathing now. I will get some more riding in later but the butt dyno sees a positive difference for sure. Schnitz had good communication and came through with the goods.

i just ordered the race version, they have the standard in stock now, but they should have race version tuesday, an be ready to ship out then.

I agreee its amazing i was going to make a post about just getting of the phone with the customer service lady for schnitz racing and ordering the race version of the BMC air filters and that they had several more in stock and look who beat me to the punch Mr. Schnitz racing himself. Thanks for the Customer service and its not ofen that you have a guy who pretty much is the icon of the company let you know when products are readilly available cudos on the customer service ryan
