Oil leak question

Hello everyone,

I noticed a little oil running down the left side of my frame. Next, I pulled the tank off to see where it was coming from. It was leaking from the left air cleaner cover. I figured maybe I didn't get it tight enough after I removed the flies. I removed the cover to take a look and noticed about 3 to 4 ounces of oil inside. Is this normal?

Thanks

Normal if you overfilled the crankcase, rev the piss out of it... and i mean piss, cause mine never has never done that, or if you wheelie it for miles on end...

Actually some had complained the same before , I think they over oiled the filter.

It could be any of the above.

Likely your either a bad boy... or a bad mechanic... LOL
Now I'm ribbin ya.

I would agree I probably put too much oil in it. My stand is a little bent. So when the bike is on it it's not completely straight. I thinks it caused me to overfill the crankcase. I guess I'm a bad mechanic. Lol. Thanks for the input. I feel a lot better.
