It's been fun!

Gonna say bye bye to the 14. It's been a great bike in many ways, but I'm actually reversing my trend of the past few years. I was slowly sliding towards the GoldWing crowd, and decided to get off my ass and lose some weight. Lost 45 lbs (so far) and feel 10 years younger. Which makes me want a lighter, quicker handling sportbike. And there's only room in the garage for so many motorcycles. So the 14 is going to help fund the acquistion of the next ride. We haven't held elections in awhie for the Moderator post, so now might be a good time!

...street motard, young man....go street motard....you gots the mojo...you gots the skillz....Duc Hypermotard is one off the shelf...maybe the KTM 690SM for local shifts and grins...or go make yourself a "waaaaay-more-tard" with 600cc-1000cc 4banger....start with a new stock ZX-6R or a ZX-10R....sell the body panels off to help defray the cost of the custom pieces you're gonna either make yourself or have someone else make for you...the mind reels...congrats on the weight loss...you've inspired me, bro ....Dino's saying, "BFD!...worm shits more than I weigh!"

I probably lost more weight than you weigh! I needed a lighter bike so I bought a 14! :P
Seriously, congratulations. I know first hand how tough it is.

SWFT -- why does losing weight and getting a new bike mean no more moderator? BTW, congrats on the weight loss...I dropped 130 lbs 4 years ago and it feels amazing. BTW, now would be the time NOT to buy a WING and go SS...

Congrats Larry! I miss the good ol' days when we ripped on one another with reckless abandon. We must be getting old.

I'll be up in Washington in two weeks? Want to meet up for a drink?

Thanks guys! Hey, I'm not leaving, but I do think that the moderator of the board should have some vested interest in the make/brand of motorcycle that the board represents. There's some excellent people here that I'm sure would be happy to take on moderator.
