I've been running one for awhile now. I got it because I wanted to try the different settings and be able to turn it off if I want. It's a good way to feel the difference. I have not yet remapped, because I'm still adding performance parts and I want this custom tuned when completed. I have not noticed any adverse effects or overheating, but I normaly turn it off when on the highways.

Thanks Todd,
Can you tell the noticeable difference in the lower rpm's like 3k - 6k?

You will feel the difference. At first, I didn't think it was all that much, but after getting used to having them open I turned the unit off and the bike felt like it was just trudging along at low end.
