ZX10 fender brackets.... not good news.
I never intended to make any money except to compensate for my time invested.
I cut 2 more sets by hand to get the machine shop a perfect example to work off.
I have no time to do the work myself.
Sourced out material, and service, and hand cut 2 extra sets.
The best quote i got was my cost $80 per pair .
Nothing fancy but 2 -1/4" aluminum plates cut to size with 8 milled holes, 6 holes are tapped 6mmx1.
All holes must be in exact alignment or the fender will not fit right, and the aluminum brackets will be exposed.... ugly.
The price is Ridiculous.
Unless you buy a used fender, the new one will cost approx $150 (Canadian anyway).
So after shipping and all parts the conversion will run most ppl about $250- $270 complete.
Sorry guys but I will charge $100 plus shipping for 2 simple aluminum plates with 4 holes cut in each. Plus shipping...
Thats the best I can do.
I work my consulting business 60-70 hrs a week, and just can't spend a lot of the little time i have for pennies. I have family and like to ride too!
If I get a minimum of 10 orders it will happen.
If not it will not.
PM me a phone # or email address if interested.
We can exchange info at that point.
I will accept payment through paypal.
$100 plus shipping.
Sorry thats the best I can do at this time.

Draw up a set of accurate full size plans and sell them instead!

You have never seen me draw
got any crayons? :P
the angles are strange and the holes must be drilled precisely in reference to each other, and the outer dimensions. Otherwise the fender will be crooked, and the brackets will be exposed... ugly...
CNC is THE only way to keep it accurrate.
Even by hand, I had to throw 1 bracket of 6 in the bin.

Dubious...if you can get me a set in hand, I can take a group order on here and have them made cheaper. I work in a prison that has craftshops. A few of the inmates work metal (beltbuckles, keyrings, etc) and I would just need a set for him to copy. Judging from what he normally charges (they can only spend $75 every 2 weeks in the commissary) I imagine the cost would be just materials plus $5-$10 a pair. And he can make them out of plain metal or stainless.
I can have them made, I just can't make money off of it (per our policies). The only downside to all this is the production time can be anywhere from a week to a month depending on the activities of the prison (i.e. lockdowns, searches, etc).

yes better cooling, better looks, easier to clean wheel, can remove frt wheel without nfnder removal, canload bike into truck without damaging zx`14 fender etc...
lotsa positives,
only negative is it will slow down top speed a little as the rad and frt cowling trap more air than stock fender allows.
