87GTNOS... thanks for enlarging the diagram. Mainly the biggest fear for me was that they wouldn't believe me. later I will post the pictures they made when they took the engine apart. the cilinder head work increased the [power with 12 hp. the rest of the increase are the handmade headers, acrapovic slipons, powercommander 3usb, and a lot of dyno runs.......!!

you asked I answered....
I wonder why sometimes....
Thats not the first time you snubbed me but will be the last.
Fuck you!
lick my ass! :P

So 1 point will take me from say example 171 rwhp to approx 176-179 rwhp? How does this affect area under the curve at lower rpms?
I may consider mild head work and valve work this coming winter...
Thanks
Compression actually creates the biggest boost around the torque curve, or peak torque and lower in the rpm.
The porting gives it more on top.

Dubious, I don't see your humour. I wasn't snubbing ya...I was mearly stating I understand timing and compression in relation to torque! I race snowmobiles....I kinda know.
So I guess thanks for the reply...I want to learn, not snubb!

the question about timing...
from what I hear, MSD has had awesome #'s with advancing the timing by 4 degrees. There are a lot of prototyped MSD equiped 14s in my neck of the woods. Too bad mine isn't one of them
my zx12 benifited too, but from what I hear, the 14 responds to timing much better than the 12 did.

So obviously no mechanical advancer available yet? That's too bad!

We do not have an expected release date at this time. We are still working on new firmware. Thanks
It seems that this product will come out when the next generation "Ninja" will come out????(just a joke, maybe). To us 14 owners,It seems to be just a part number 6-42 in there catalog/ web site??????

hmmm my bad, forgot to mention ignition module also required with hub to trim ignition and fuel maps for each gear.
I really think that would be splitting hairs for fractions of 1 HP though.
More for drivability than full throttle applications IMO.
Even then, would we notice?

Muzzy timing plate should do what ya need to see any noticable changes.

Holy chit, my wife is gonna kill me!! LOL!! I think I'll just stick to the Muzzy plate. I need to save up still for my PCIII for my sled next winter!
You're right, I think that USB HUB stuff is way overkill. Maybe a good idea if you run a big bore kit or something like nitrous or turbo!!
