from 173 t0 199.4 hp Did make some dyno runs by a tuning company for a few weeks ago, and the pulled out 173hp on the rear wheel. was pretty disapointed ( like JD was with his bike).
Now two weeks later my bike is ready. They handmade the 4 into 1 into 2 for my acrapovic slip ons. and they machined the cilinderhead, also busted op the compresion. now its making 199.4 hp on the rear wheel with 11000 rpm. the only problem now is,that i use more rpm...... (smoking help)... I whil post the diagrams later.

so you are making 200HP on porting and decking the head basically?
Cams?

They likely opened up the exhaust port and decked the head.
Every point of compression increase theoretically increases HP by approx. 10%, considering stable cyl. and head temps are maintained, and ignition timing is correct.
The exhaust port is D shaped and actually about 70% of header diameter at exit of the head. Took a good look when I installed the exhaust.
Porting it would hurt bottom and mid but likely give a substantial boost to top end power.
Hogging it out beyond the flow capability of stock cams and valves would hurt it everywhere though.

i could see this. Remember Rob Muzzy said with his cams, head work and a bump in compression would get you over 210hp. So just delete the cams. Hp sure does cost.

Dubious with all due respect you are dreaming!!! 1 point of compression is worth between 3-5% power increase TRUST ME tested time and again

199.4, fantastic. Let us know how it goes at the track. Are you gearing it for quarters or top speed ? It should do 200mph (321 kph) easily.

Hi Bob, Nice to here from you. I know you believe me, you also had 192,3 hp with out headwork.... I will scan the original and modified dynodiagrams next week, when i pick up my bike again. (he just faxed me the diagrams...) the people of that magazine tested the bike in germany, I already put a 40 tooth sprocket on it when i brought it to that tuning company, and they were running 11000 rpm with te 40tooth in no time. (I know that is 320 km/h) Hope the engine is stayng in one piece....

A muzzy 1270 kit and pipe would take you from a stock 165 to 195 rwhp, so this sounds quite doable. Compression is the key!

173.5 DIN = 170.5 SAE
199.4 DIN = 196 SAE
Still lots of hp!!! and a good increase.
I would to like see how this engine package performed on the city streets. It appears that the only gains are at higher rpms. Barely noticable at street driving rpm. Approx. 5hp here and there and no icreases in the lower rpm range.

87GTNOS... thanks for enlarging the diagram. Mainly the biggest fear for me was that they wouldn't believe me. later I will post the pictures they made when they took the engine apart. the cilinder head work increased the [power with 12 hp. the rest of the increase are the handmade headers, acrapovic slipons, powercommander 3usb, and a lot of dyno runs.......!!
