Who does Oil Pan Mods????

I just knocked the oil plug into the pan. i need my pan modified. Does anyone know who can do it so that I can still run my smeg. I dont want a sidewinder. Help please!!!

Do a search, lots of guys have done it....or had it done rather.. Im looking into getting a pan modified also..

gms118 Coby addams modifies them for 300 bucks but the one I am having made at RPM should be ready in another week or two and it will work with the SMEG price will be 500 but when they are ready I am going to try to get a group buy going so let me know if you are interested

my welder did it for $60. welded a drain plug on the kickstand side, grinded off the 'guard' around the old plug and welded up the old drainplug hole.

take it off and take it to them to save some $ on labor. Order your new gasket now though.

The local dealer ripped his out last Friday night....I warned him when I did mine...

Yeah, if that RPM one doesnt come out soon Im going to get a stock one and modify it.. but black magic said that its going to be pretty bad ass so I might wait..

This may be a stupid question on my oart, but how did you manage to knock the plug up into the oil pan?

most time its a lower bike..... ive got a 4to1 muzzy pipe protecting my plug.... few bangs on pipe from curbs but never hit plug yet....ain't saying it can't happen but it looks like its gonna need be a left turn with whole lotta lean ....

The bike is very low, the plug was the lowest point on the bike. Came up on a wheelie at the track and you can fill in the blanks!

I was promised that the pan from RPM would be done before july 28th I plan on racing that weekend and Jason said it would for sure be done before then I am hoping for sometime around the 20th

I didn't take any pics because mine looked identical to halvesfast' set up. I'll see if I can find the link i used to have.

this is the pic halvefast did of his pan. My welder welded the actual drainplug on the kickstand side. I really like the way his(below) turned out. Rich's set up involved much more welding than mine...my guy just welded up the original drainplug.
