herbie tha love busa don't worry me, i got a 1417 with 65 shot......nothing stock on my bike except rims, an i got ceramic wheel bearings in those. ....., the only time i 'll see a busa from the back is when i 'm park, or an cop got one pulled over for indecent exposure to the public....... for that ugly ass....

Cool mentioned the ZZR 1200. If you ask me, I think that's what the tail end of the new Busa reminds me of most.

Very few bikes stock look perfect at every angle, I doubt Suzuki will lose a sales over that tail and just gives us someone a starting point too improve on.
I'm not thrilled on the looks of the 08 busa tail. I was not thrilled with my 01 1k tail so I put a 03 tail on it, than it was the wheels, the bodywork, the brakes, the fastners,the paint, the internals...20k later and i'm still looking at stuff to make it "rickerized" LOL!
Six months old with the usual mods pipe, pc, air filter and a very special if you look real close a one of a kind oil/spark plug it worked! at HP Cycles in Lake City,FL
Cf tail, different pipe, wheels and minor stuff
larger motor and more cf
03 tail, paint, differnet swingarm, akra headers with a Tusugki end can and other tweaks
My point is, who cares what it looks like stock, you can always improve the base and make it personal its only $$
