I'm curious to see if the higher compression will be a factor.
Stock pipes have got to go.

The 08 Busa lost some more HP and gained some weight. Reminds me of the long-term trophy girlfriend...
Torque is where it's at. How much torque will the bile make?

I think it is rated at 198 at the crank the 14 is 197 but if the busa is 11 pounds heavier that 1 HP dont mean shit

I thought I had read it was going to be 110 lb-ft of torque. 3.5 less than the 14.

Yeah Suzuki pukes all forget the GSXR1100 that was a 1052, maybe should have called it a
GSXR 10.5.

I don't know it kind of grows on me. With the 2mm more stroke and still has the removable jug to make a piston kit a snap. My 1397 busa made 204 HP at the rear wheel. The 14 is a really good bike. I like both. I'll have to see the new bike in person. I might get one myself.

will see better areos will beat the old one in top speed.more power from higher comp and more cc will get better 1/4 mile times.plus the world of after market modds to engine, big bore turbos and nitrous.with 8 injectors should have enough fuel to support over 400hp on motor if rods are stronger.and thats on stock engine

Stock to stock it's going to be a riders race.
Start to build and the Suzuki already has the parts on the shelf.
I'll bet the cyclinder is the same and the head is the same.
You could buy a new busa friday and ride out sunday with a big block and
carpenter head , now with a stock stroker.
The old busa came detune low compression, stuffy head and mild cams.
Remember the 200 hp stock bore stock stoke carpenter package?
They fixed the compression, "probably" cleaned the head up, and better cams.
I like Kaw and Suzuki but from a racers view (cheap available part) Suzuki just
smacked a grand slam homer.
The 14 opened the 8 sec door to the joe public, the busa with the mass following will make it common.

when the statement is made on forums "its up to the rider", it means you have the slower bike. wee

ya, the busa crowd hung on to that statement "its up to the rider" when the 14 was previewed. That statement stopped quickly after the slaughter became obvious
