secondary cooling fan

I am going to order a aftermarket 6.5 inch pull type cooling fan from spalusa, I would like to run it seperate of factory fan and control it with a toggle switch-question is what power supply would be recommended? I will be running a inline relay and won't power only when key on.

That is a great idea VTXTC. Have you thought about wiring the two fans together then doing the hazard switch mod?

Wiring into the emergency hazard switch is a great idea which I will use, I do wan't to keep the fans seperate so I will not be piggybacking- I like the ability to turn on secondary fan at my discretion, again thanks for the help and will post pictures and review when done.

I'm glad my 14 doesn't overheat in these scorching Florida summers. Fortunately I don't even concern myself with the bike's performance regarding heat.

I'm going to try switching to full synthetic oil and add water wetter this weekend. Lucky it cooled off to mid 80's for a few days. Since I live very close to downtown any ride I do has more than a few stop and go city miles in traffic.
Kawi should have had two fans on that monster radiator from the factory.

Then I better add two more fans to be one step ahead.
