Sprocket Size

Could anyone tell me what the best combo of sprocket is for the ZX-14 to get the best low end grunt. I don't care about the top speed as much as I do about the takeoff.

16/42 is perfect WAY MORE grunt, acceleration and power and still cruises decent without being too buzzy on the highway, I did this mod at 200 miles and would never go back.

did you have to change the size of the chain you used?

Nope, stop chain works fine............16/42 is roughly same wheelbase as stock, while 16/41 is slightly longer wheelbase and 16/43 is slightly shorter wheelbase (wheel adjusted all the way forward)

Low end grunt -- you gotta pull the flies 1st. That will give you way more than sprockets to start.

I have a lot of low end grunt after I eat a couple of bean burritos at Taco Bell.

with pulling the flies I read that you can have issues with heating and possible stalling. Or is this only when you add a full exhaust without a PCIII and not a propper map?

if you plan on pulling the flies you will need a pc and remap.....and yes it is worth it. There is no other mod next to nitrous that will give you the same result...exhaust is a close2nd.
