Funny question because you will still get lots of answers. Personally, I am not after 'every' last ounce of HP. So I may just end up with some sort of slip-ons. Others though want that last bit of power, and it sounds like the Brock SMEG system is the way to go....

Don't really care for every last drop of HP but I am looking for style, weight, and sound. I bought this bike more for the sport touring. My wife and I ride, so my next purchase is going to be the corbin twin seat with passenger back rest. Thanks for your input.

get the street mega and u won't be disappointed. with right map u get 12 to 15 hp , it looks great. save u bunch of weight, and your bike runs alot cooler. i take my girlfriend on ride once a while and never had any problems with it footpeg area unless she wear size 14 shoes.
sounds great, a little loud but that is why i like it.
brocks customer service is outstanding.

You won't be disappointed with either and both Rob Muzzy and Brock post here. I ended up with Brock's Gen 3 carbon fiber, with ceramic coating, and I also have the Corbin seat w/backrest. My wife complains about the noise a bit but that is life.

Thanks for the help, I appreciate the input. I like the looks of the brocks better than the muzzy, so I think that I will go that way. Noise isn't an issue, she can wear her ear buds if she doesn't like it.

Here is a bit of a different question, sprocket size, if I change the rear do I need to change the front? For lower end torq what is the best como for this bike? drop front and increase rear?

factory is 17/41. i put 16/42 on my 06 zx14. i loved it, just hard to keep down on first gear, u got to get use to throttle response. some here have 16/43 which is a monster.
it depends how much u want. my speedomer was off about 8 miles becuase of change.
i am thinking to change mine again on my 07 and i will probably go with 16/42 again. the bike is stock hight and and swingarm and should be plenty.

If you haven't done so, when you get the pipe, get a PC III with the map for your pipe with the "flies out". You may decide you don't need to re-gear it at all, it is a torque monster with the files out . . . unless you're like FBA and you like wheelies a half throttle :P

Cool I have dropped the front end about 13mm and the rear I have some muzzy lowering links coming. I happen to be shorter so I need it a bit lower, I have had the saddle already carved out a bit. I appreciate the response on the sprocket issue. I just bout the bike 2 weeks ago and have 2000 KM on it. I love it what a bike. So much more than the VTR1000 I havd before.

If it'll have lots of jam with the exhaust done and the PCIII then that is what I am after, explain to me what taking the flies out entails. New to most of this mod stuff it's been awhile, and the last bike I had was no EFI but had a carb.

Take off gas tank take off the two little aluminum covers in there is the air box and the throttle bodies take a long #2 screwdriver and takeout the throttle body plates you see right in front of you use plenty of downward force to keep them from striping and go slowand have a magnet handy in case you drop the screws then put it back together and hold on!!!

Thanks for your insight, and the help I can see that this site is going to be my best friend for quite awhile, as will most of you. Once I get into all the mods I will have more questions. Thanks again guys
