error code 24?
i let a guy run my bike, he is a busa fan, said it was really smooth, but when he returned it now has a code 24 and how do i clear this code? i took the battery cables off but no luck. i do have the speedo unhooked and it runs great

Code 24 is the speed sensor.

Code 24 possibly means--
1) Your fat friend weights too much and squished the hell out of my seat...
2) Your idiot friend did too many wheelies, abused me and I want you to know...
3) Don't ever let your friend ride on me again. he kept farting into my seat....
4) Your so-called friend road raped me as soon as we went around the corner and I need an oil change immediatetly...

put the speedo back on i had the same problem ... my screw cam out so the senser worked sometimes then when i would race didnt just reconnect it...

Press the mode and reset buttons together for more than 2 seconds. The code will display. Press and hold the mode button and the warning light should light. Then turn off the ignition.

Code 24 I looked it up and it says something to the effect of MY OWNER IS A DUMBASS... LOL J/K

Put the sensor back in, ride it a few feet and it will clear itself. You can't run the bike hard with the sensor out of the cover. Why you ask? I don't know but the ZX10 does the same thing.
