Shifter Question

Got some new Icom riding boots. They fit well. The problem is, I have to slip my foot between the peg and the shifter at such an awkward angle due to a thicker, stiffer sole. I like the boots because they eliminate numbness in my feet. Is there anyway to adjust the shift lever position to accommodate the situation.

Just loosen and remove the bolt on the shift lever - then reposition it to where its
comfortable with your new boots, put the bolt back in and tighten it back up.
It takes less thab 5 minutes.

Thanks ZX, for some reason I thought there would be more to it.
