dac, yeah man I really liked the look once I saw the M10 Muzzy in person and that it sat lower and shorter made me mod my SMEG. It was fairly easy to do and I didn't have to buy anything other than use the existing mid pipe. I don't think that it needs to be re-mapped but I haven't had it on a dyno in a while either. I couldn't tell one way or the other if the bike ran better or not by making this change. I'm leaving it as is now.

nightmare, Thanks man but heck that was easy enuff for "ANYONE" on here to do as well of a job. Just a regular TIG or MIG welder and you're set.

I wonder by me making my pipe shorter, did it gain anymore power like the Alien head kit from Brock? It sure seems snappier down low after that mod.
Brock, if the '08 is as bad as we all hope it to be, look to be as busy as you were with the '06 and '07 ZX-14 bikes. I can't wait man. Already got my '06 ready for sale if the '08 is better.
