Man this got way out of hand......zx1kr didn't mean any harm , it was only a warning... He could have gone a step more and dropped Brock a PM ...But that's water under the bridge now ...

I have one of the early Smegs and it is close to the filter but is causing no problems for me ...I install two of the updated SMegs from Brocks and they have made them with a ton of clearance around the filter ...The older header can be adjusted to get more clearance but you need to run the shorter filter...The longer filters sold by the aftermarket will hit no matter what you do ...So run the factory style short filter ..... If it's still a problem call Brock and he will fix it ........No worries guys just call him.... Smokin.....

Fuck that noise..."My 12 shits all over your 14"...LOL Hey...My John Deer mower can out-wheelie your 12R ...I gotta SMEG and a PC3 with a Paxton S/C pushing 40000000 HP (rear wheel)...at only 1800 RPM. My motor's a 6 stroker with S&S 6900 Cams and that mower can do 1200 MPH and the 1/4 in .05 seconds...so there!

I love this board

yea some of the pipes on early models can be close to the filter, but if you had any mechanical aptitude, you would adjust it so it wasn't close, doh!
if you put aftermaket parts on your bike and don't do it right you are a squid like countersteer

CS I believe I stated earlier that I noticed that my Oil Filter was rubbing and I contacted Brock about it and he said loosen the Bracket and push the whole system forward, I did that fixed it Never had another problem. Also if you read all 480 of my post (which i doubt) you would see the different times I changed out my exhaust with the Muzzy and the Yoshi to see what the differences were and I think it is obvious which was the best because guess what I STILL OWN A SMEG and again please dont get me started on which one of our bikes looks better lets just say we both have our individual taste... and as far as your 12 being faster then my 14 how much did you spend on that motor again I hope it is faster LOL, but I bet it isnt faster then Smokins 14... I still dont understand how you get the idea that anyone is bashing Bill I think he did the right thing by posting this (would appreciate pics) and I dont think he did it with any ill intention

Yeah I dont see how this can turn into any kind of BASHING thread Both Bill and Brock are well known on this site and respected, Bill stated something that Brock himself has warned about and Brock replied that he will do everyhting in his power to fix it at no cost sounds like a happy ending to me

Thank You! Couldn't have said it better myself!
