I'm going to have pics of the wheels mounted on a 14 by the middle of next week.
Stay tuned!
I'll post pics of the very trick liquid silver BST Carbon Fiber wheels, Ohlins susp. frt & rear equipped R1 also. Total f**kin' eye candy! Goes pretty good too!

Installed the wheels today on the ZX14! Saved 9+lbs on the rear & 6+lbs. on the front. The 14 turns in similar to a GSXR 750! Well, a GSXR750 with a 14 motor in it! The difference is HUGE!!!
You think of turning and the bike is doing it! It will take alittle getting used to. Acceleration has also markedly improved! I would have to compare this upgrade on par with removing the secondaries. That is about the only way I can explain the depth of difference in handling! I'm extremely happy! Money well spent!
I'll upload the pics tommorrow, left them in the camera at the shop.
15+lbs of unsprung weight equats to feeling like a 75lb loss in sprung weight. Now I know what this bike feels like with a 160lb rider aboard. Incredible!

what kind of turbo are you looking at Smokin? And the wheels will help right? Even with the turbo!

Did some dyno runs with the BST wheels on the ZX14. We hit 160 mph on the dyno .4 secs sooner with the BST wheels as opposed to the stock wheels. Rolled on at 3K to redline went from 7.9 seconds to 7.5 in a 5th gear pull.

I going to have to put a better steering damper on the 14 & the R1.
They definitely feel alittle light on the front wheels!!!
Also, the 14 showed HP gains up to 15 HP thru the rev range. Although the peak # didn't change. It's "wicked" responsive. Tru195 saw the dyno charts, he's already negotiating a set for the 07 GSXR1k.
Rolled on in 3rd against his Gixxer with the R1. We were head to head until the very upper part of the rev-range then he opened up a 2 to 3 length lead. 2nd gear was dead even. couldn't run the higher gears due to "rush hour" traffic. Not bad though for the R1 considering that it's down 16HP on the 3yr. newer GSXR1K. All gains were made by bolting on a set of rims.
I've talked to several of you on here about a group buy of 6 or more sets! I'll do a real good # on them. You guys just have to organize it. They can be for different bikes, as long as they make wheels for'em!

It's actually not "Black" but a CF weave with a heavy clear coat over the CF. We we're going to dress them up a bit on the 14 with some hi-lited paint work. I do paint at my shop. Can make'em any color you want. That's just alil' extra.

While your wheels are bitchen ........... there is no horsepower gain.
An engine makes horsepower, not wheels. Your bike will accellerate faster due to
the weight reduction but "0" on the HP gains. My wheels are almost 11 lbs lighter
than the stockers, and I did feel a difference in accelleration and handeling but my
horsepower did'nt change.

Yes, I know wheels don't make power & as I said peak output didn't change. But, when the charts were laid over one another the power built quicker. At the same time & place I had 120HP pre wheels. Post wheels I was pushing 135HP at the same point time wise. Should've explained it better. My Bad! That's is why I did the timed runs, to see these results.
