Is anyone runnig the Catalyst seat pan???
I was wondering what mods if any do you have to make when putting the seat pan on. I noticed they have two screws in the back. Does anyone one have pics. I want to know a little about it before i buy one.

I just bought one from a gentleman on another forum. He explained that there was some shaping and sanding involved before he painted it. I'll see what I can find out from him.

Here's one of my catalyst seat, kinda far away though. Although a nice piece, I wish I would have taken the time to take some off of the sides. It scratched my tail section all up.
One day at the track, when I launched, both of the back bolts sheared off, and me and the seat was basically stationary as the bike continued forward. Good thing I had a finger still on the clutch and was able to pull it back in somehow. My right hand had the throttle pinned wide open and when I got the clutch in, I hit the rev limiter. All this happened within the first 30 feet of the track. Scared the dog-shit out of me. I immediately killed the bike, and watched as my opponent went all the way down the track and broke out, LOL..lucky me.
I suggest putting in some strong stainless steel bolts for added strength.

The holes are pre-drilled in the fiberglass seat. There are also some holes in the front of the seat where the 2 tabs on top of the gas tank slide into. I had to open those holes up a bit in the seat because it wasn't fitting like it should. Only minimal alterations though.
You will be able to go from drag seat to stock seat in about 2-3 minutes tops.

No drilling needed. You have threaded holes on your bike already, exactly where the holes on the seat are pre-drilled.
