Hubster-- Thank you for your thoughts. You sound like a nice, honest guy.. Maybe you need to establish some riding rules for yourself and never, never deviate from them. Possibly you could post them on your garage door and on your tach as reminder. Good luck with your mending and please keep in touch..

great points.

I totalled a ZX9R back in the day, and had a rubber ZX9 keychain I still use for that very same concept.

Heck, I just noticed where my chest hit the tank- no wonder it hurts!
Can you see it?

Been to gixxerkart.com?? There's one with a blackbird engine also that is outrageous. I could only imagine how strong a zx-14 motor would act in on of those.

Hey buddy, I feel for you- four months ago, Feb 3, I totalled my black '06 in a botched pass at 70 or so.
Broke a bunch of ribs, still have a sprained left wrist and thumb but not bad considering my riding gear was toast head to toe.
Had the black '07 replacement within 5 weeks, before I could ride it even. New one is broken in and not fast enough. . .

Thanks for listening to me guys- I wrestle with this shit every day and wonder if I'm making a mistake by continuing to ride, but I cannot fathom what my life would be like---without it???!?

Hey Hub... Most of us have had to deal with that issue. I spent close to a year down with a broken back (L4, L5) crushed. Doctors were not so sure about old Humpty Dumpty that time.

But here I am, A 14 in the garage and my wife rides a 636 or her Sv650 too.

Life is good, teach your boy to ride and never look back. He will thank you and always remember that time in your lives together.

Nobody gets out of life alive, it is what you do to achieve your goals and how you treat others that define who YOU are..... and how you WILL be remembered.
