GREAT NEWS!! Billet Oil Pan COMIN

Well guys I have some good news, to start off I busted my oil pan again the other day AHHHHHHHH so I called around and could find No one that sold a billet oil pan and Coby Adams wanted 300 bucks to modify the stock one and I thought I would rather pay 4 or 5 hundred and get a billet but I couldnt find anyone to make them. And then to the rescue comes Jason at RPM Cycle and performance, he has a CNC machine and he told me that If I would leave my bike with him for a few weeks he would use it to do the prototype and not charge me anything well I couldnt pass it up... So as of now we are looking at about a month till they are available the basic info I have so far is it will add at least 2.5 inches of ground clearance with the oil plug moved and the oil filter relocated and it will use a 636 oil filter. That is all the info I have as of now... BUT THEY ARE ON THE WAY I PROMISE. I did take a look at the ones the do for the ZX10 and they look awesome very nice!!!! If anyone thinks they would be interested in getting one around the time he gets em ready let me know so I can give him an idea of how many to make up.

if Brocks sells it not only will the product be # 1, but so will the customer service.

Guys I am not exactly sure on any of te real specifics yet, I am in Philadelphia for a couple of weeks but I will call them and find out soem specifics, I do know it will lower ground clearance by around 2.5 inches and will use a 636 oil filter and I think I heard Jason say it will hold 3.5 quarts but that is a complete guess, it will also have a swivel oil pickup

500 dollars is a fairly decent piece of cheese for most people. I would guess that most are casual drag racers, rather than someone more serious. That is alot of what determines demand..

I am potetntially interested - Price is high but so is the danger of the stock unit. I will want to make sure that the oil/lubrication function is as food or better than stock and need to understand the implications of the moved and differant oil filter - I am not sure how I evaluate this - typically I watch a product performance after it is on the market for awhile. .... so that is where I have some reservations.

Will definately post pics, I thought the 500 was a little high but then I talked to Coby Addams and they charge a little over 300 to mod the Stock pan I would rather pay 200 more and get a billet one. But for the small price of being without my bike for about a month I am getting one for free

Hell I just paid close to $500 for a billet clutch basket. That sounds about right for a full oil pan.

Jason said most of the cost is the fact that it has to be such a big chunk of aluminum

It may be high, but its worth it... burn ur motor up, or crash and get hurt, or die, .. In my opinion its worth it.... my 2 cents

Here is RPM's contact information anyone who is interested should call them and ask to speak to Jason and please let them know that Matt Works refered you... ROM Cycle & Performance El Dorado Arkansas (870)863-4630. Again I will post pics as soon as they are finished should be another 2 to 3 weeks... Also If we can get several people together I will talk to Jason about doing a group rate I figure he might would do it since he can probably get a better rate on the aluminum if he buys it in bulk

is this billet pan gonna work ONLY WITH SIDEWINDERS like the aftermarket 12 pans????

I run a Koenig pan on my 12 and love what it did for my oil pressure. Beautiful piece of work but it needs a sidewinder (NG for street).
