That's what I think if he has intrest get him experience in the dirt. And his Mom was pushing me to get him one as well so if she's okay with it better for me and him. He just rode it in the yard and had one tip over mainly because it is about an 1 1/2 to tall for him but I did not want to go smaller he is stuck in the middle size wise. by the end of summer he will be alright. I can't say much I had one tip over in the yard as well, I blamed it on wet Grass LOL

+1 although I've been known to try some crazy shit like that. I'm kind of getting smarter with age or I just don't like pain as much.

That was good move on your part Bently, it gives him something to work for.
So many great lessons he can learn from this.
Steve that video is wild, that little dude got balls to be out there mixing it up.
I would hate to line up next to him, the kid is fearless. (lol)

Hi Bently.... my son is older now (19) but i remember buying dirtbikes..and then quad's...he liked..not loved them (like i did) ... we had fun in the trials..& all.... and im sure if he had a street bike we'd have fun riding there to.....Funny feeling really...me...im crazy in love with the sport.....but as a father im actually happy he's not into motorcycles...at least on the street..he's the same with my cars.... just different i guess.... now my daughter....well...she's the one i have to watch out for! Too many parents and grandparents rely on video games and such to entertain kids.TV in the headsets of car and I-pods.
Famliy time is the most important part of a childs upbringing, giving a kid a highly stimulating and fun outlet (motorcycles) for their energy will bring many happy and fullfilling hours together.

Just got done wearing a path in the yard and I'm picky with my yard but the smile on his face is priceless, he also bit the dust pretty good and I think he's pretty proud of his first scratch on his arm LOL.
