STOCK WHEEL BASE

I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE ACTUAL STOCK LENGTH. EVERYONE SAYS 60" , BUT I PUT A TAPE ON IT AND COME UP WITH 58 1/2 ".

I always thought it was 57.5".

It's definitely not 60", I know that for a fact.

Let's see, mine is 69", which is about 11 over, so stock is somewhere around 58".

Hey Jdrill ..Service Manual says 57.4.... Kawasaki Website says 57.5.. flip a coin..

Just break the chain down and add a master link. That should give you close to an extra inch, you'd still be within 60 inches. I don't know if the adjustment bolts will unscrew that far though :\

is it 57.5 with the rear wheel back as far as you can get it, if so i will get two inches added to the swing arm.
