Hit 200 again
Having done 205.4 last year with a strong tail wind there were doubts about doing a similar speed in normal conditions and plenty of people happy to tell me so.
Well, at last Saturdays JD10 in Woodbridge the 14 hit 203.1mph. Despite variable weather conditions and a severe weather warning for most of the country we managed some runs on both Saturday and Sunday. My first run of the day was 201.1 and that's 7 times now that my bike has posted over 200mph speeds. A brilliant weekend.

I used 17/40, the bike is lowered by 3 inches (7.6cm) at the rear with Muzzy links and strapped down hard at the front.
This is an image of me at the end of the speed trap taken by Charlotte and you can see how low the front is , a superb shot considering the speed.

....and a nice shot from last year, just love the look of that bike.

Lots of questions there guys, here goes:
It's a Class 2 bike which is essentially unopened motor and stock wheelbase. Pipes & PC etc allowed and pump fuel.
I'm not the Bob from UK Busa'a
I used a Powerbronze screen this time but a standard screen last year.
The pipe is a TiForce.
Weight? well I'm around 225 pounds fully kitted and the track is 300 miles from my home.
NOS would put the bike into another Class, undoubtedly faster. There is a Turbo 14 around (Big CC) and rumours of a Supercharger too but no details yet.
Thanks for the comments.

What is that track like? All I usually hear about is Maxton and the Texas mile. Neither sound like a place I want to try.

are you allowed to use a turbo or nitrous. I know the question may seem dumb but I have never competed in these type of events. Just trying to learn dawg!

Bob,
Must be nice to be consistently over 200mph!
Is the "track" 1 mile, standing start???

thevak,
I use a Speedo Healer and the setting I use is the convert kph to mph mode. The inner scale then becomes a 300mph speedo and the ECU thinks the bikes only doing about 120.
Xtremespeed & entropy
The track is the 1.9 mile runway at R.A.F. Woodbridge. It's about 1.25 miles to accelerate until the speed traps.

Man o' man, that is a clever trick, using the km scale for mph AND tricking the ECU
Thanks for the info on the track length!
