How to remove front wheel bearings?
I can't figure out how you're supposed to press the bearings out. The sleeve that runs through the wheel between the bearings doesn't give you any room to press out the bearings. HELP!

Heat the hub with a heat gun or if you are careful put it on a stove (No tire). Generally the aluminum expands and the bearing falls out. Then remove the spacer and tap out the other bearing. OEM also makes a tool with a notch in the center that fits the inner bearing ID. From the other side put a tapered wedge into the notch to expand the tool so you can hit the end of the wedge and drive the bearing out. Since you are going to replace the bearings anyway this works also. Good Luck.

Changed my wheel bearings last week, just used a long punch. The spacer will move from side to side enough to let you go from side to side to slowly work the bearing out, then the spacer will come right out and give plenty of room to get the other side out.

I appreciate it. I finally got them out. Used the punch method. That spacer really makes it a pita.
