Took a rock to the radiator today...
Bar's Stop Leak got me home, luckily. I'll definitely be buying or fabbing a protector screen while I have it out for repair!

Put on a radiator protector last summer......................before I had a hole in mine! It gives a little more peace of mind now.
There is so much debri on our roads around here, it would only be a matter of time before getting the rad taken out by a rock.
The bike does not seem to run any hotter in traffic with it on.

Thanks for the offer, but I think it'll be repairable. If I run into problems, I'll give you a shout.

The rad shops didn't wan to weld mine,
I used 2part epoxy after prepping with brake cleaner and dremel!
4000 miles so far, no problems.
Prep is the critical factor with epoxies.

My radiator is busted too. I just spent $660 at the local dealer for a new one. I guess that guard doesn't look too bad now hugh? Please get me a pic of one too. Thanks.
