question to corbin seat owners...
I just installed my corbin with the cowl. It seems to be riding about 1/4 inch too high. The seat fits fine, but the space between the cowl and the tail plastics is too much.
It doesn't fit like the stocker. Is ther any way to resolve this?
For a $400 + SHIPPING SEAT, this bitch should fit PERFECT without any adjustments. I didn't have the same problem with my corbin on the 12.
Any assist is greatly appreciated.

I noticed the same with mine. The fit is not as good as it was on my 12.
I had hell getting the seat on the first time. Now, I'm afraid to take it off.

1. Without the plastic tailpiece over the passenger portion of the seat mine also appears to ride slightly high. However, I don't carry passengers. With the plastic tailpiece in place it looks better than it did with the stock seat.
2. The Corbin fit extremely snug in terms of clapping down. Way to snug. It was a pain to get on and even more of a pain to get off. Corbin says that it is the rubber bumpers http://www.corbin.com/troubleshooting.shtml. I thought about sanding them down but wound up putting washers under the rear latch bracket. Didn't take a thick washer. Thing fits perfect now, easy on easy off, and snug like it should be. If the rubber bumpers do wear then I can just take the washer out from beneath the mounting on the latch bracket.
3. Overall I'm very happy with seat. Done a 2.5 hour ride so far and no discomfort. I felt pain with the stock seat after about an hour.
