speedo acting funny
this just started yestarday after i got done at the track going home... my speedometer doesnt work most the time, only sometimes at low speeds it flickers doesnt stay on how fast i am going, it just goes to it then back to zero also my odometer wont regester but at low speeds. my rpms and fuel gauge are fine but everything else i dont know

Do you have a Speedo Healer attached ? If not seems like a warranty issue.

Before going to the stealership and let the butchers at it, pull the sprocket cover off and check for a build-up of grease on the pickup and the sprocket nut from the chain. Should only take you about 10mins. to check.

Sounds like what happened to my 2000 zx9, dealer replaced speedo, didn't solve problem. Ended up having to replace wiring harness under warrenty.

change the front sprocket ?
the square part is what the sensor pics up on. If you used that to remove the nut, you may have bent it . If you ran it that way you may have screwed up the sensor,
