He's a lightweight. LOL He's said many times how much he weighs. His weight does help his ET's some but he is still a damn good rider. Anyone who can bust out 1.38 to 1.40 sixty foots on a continual basis has my respect. I'm on my second year and my best is only a 1.47.

Weight is a factor but good riding is the number one key to this sport. I have seen guys with turbos that can't run what he does stock.

Smokin' great job-
I know nothing about drag racing but immediately I noticed your lean into the windscreen. You had your aerodynamics in place even before the race began! Outstanding. Now if you can just bring your feet and elbows in a second faster... and tilt your head.
Keep up the good work--

Can't get any lower because my helmet keeps hitting the tank...Kind of screws up my paint...Plus you get that low you can't see where you are going... Maybe a different type of helmet might help...

Could be tony...The problem is when you tilt your head down the top of the helmet above your eyes blocks your view...

I worked on that at the Salts. I was finally able to tilt the head and look forward with one eye to keep the helmet out of most of the windstream. I don't know if I 'd recommend it for you. I had a lot of margin for error if I were to get off course...
You might want to experiment by going safely down the highway. The sound of the wind in your ears will tell you when you are most aerodynamic. Get your face into the screen. There's good chance your butt will leave the seat which is good. Elbows should be out of the windstream pointing down towards the ground.
Disclaimer: Please consult your attorney and/or CPA for the benefits and potential dangers of doing such a stupid act at the dragstrip. You must have 20X20 vision in both eyes and not be high on narcotics or Red Bull. Nothing is worth 2 seconds at the strip.

Thanks Flyboy .... Good things to think about ...Drag racing is hard to do some things real fast...The G forces on the leave make it hard to move around on the bike without upsetting the bike... That can cause big trouble real fast ..... You have very little time in an 8 second pass to make corrections if things go wrong ... Even picking my feet up to quick will upset the bike and cause the bike to take the wrong line down the track .... We have a very small grove to stay in , about 10 inches at best ....Move out of that grove can mean spinning and sliding sideways....I have seen a few guys out of the grove go down.....Tricky ,dangerous and fast ... Thats what make it so fun....

I didn't realize you had a small groove. Please disregard my comments. I'll do some runs myself before commenting again. Keep up the good work.
