One of these Busa owners has a 14 and swears it can't go 8's on a stock motor.

Trust me it wouldn't do any good, I can tell these guys aren't going to believe even if they ride one that goes 8's. They only speak busa and nothing else is good enough, lets face it the busa is a great bike and its been on top since 99 but its time for a change! Its time for a new king!!

I'm 1300hemibusa over there..I have the screen name because i had two Busas years back ... These guys clam i have motor work done and i offered to prove that i do not ...I offered my bike with title Vs 10k of their money .. The bet is >> i'll make an 8.80 pass and we will pill the motor apart and show them it is STOCK... That would be the easiest 10k i have ever made ......I will offer that bet to anyone anytime ....Smokin...

Bently i think some of the guys over there have lost their minds ...lol... Two of them have seen me run the numbers and have looked my bike over and over ...But still think i have a built motor....What would they say if i was running 8.30s with built motor ...lol...

Smokin them guys on S.H. do not want to believe the 14 is alot faster than the Busa..I wrote a reply over there on the thread...I never heard anyone taking you up on your bet..You have made a believer out of me on the 14 being alot faster than the Busa...Just keep up the good work..Us old guys gotta stick together..I ran my Busa at the trk.today for the first time this year since I had it worked on..I rode like shit..6.13 in the1/8...122,1:59 60.No 330..Stk arm..If it does not go no faster I will be getting a 14...I went a 6:12 last yr.with a pipe and lowered..Hopfully it will get better.

Thanks Alan .. yes i read your post over there and thanks for the nice post .. Alan 6.13 @ 122 with a stock arm ...Hell man you are riding that puppy very well !! My best ever at stock w/b base was 5.99 with a 1.51 60 footer ... and i only did that once !!! most times it was 6.0s and up...You did well ...  Smokin.. P/S that bet stands for anyone to take me up on it ... But i'm betting no one ever will...lol...

how's this ..
I run with a buddy I just met end of last year .. we ran together and I got best time for all us on stock bikes .. 2 14's .. a few busa's .. and an 11 that kicked me all over on the 60' mark ..
I ran a 10.9 my first ever time at the lights .. kinda scarry when the whole croud is waiting to see this thing go .. they think I knew what I was doin or something .. well I never squided and ran well .. no red-light and I think something like a .225 reaction .. ( my nerves got me out of the gate ).
so my 10.6 was the best time all night for us .. we're at 3500 ft. .. and it was like 65 degrees at night .. completely stock everything .. 2000kms on the clock..
we ran a few times on the road to test our 1st gear roll-ons .. I beat him everytime .. and let him ahead so I had something to shoot for .. passed him and he was like "wow !! .. that thing sure pulls eh ? "
ok .. he gets Muzzy pipe .. PC installed .. and a K& N to boot .. now he is ONLY completely even with me .. not one single time can either guy get ahead .. cool !!1
now we are at this year .. first time we got together, I have now 4500 kms on it .. and I say .. feels like I'm either getting better at wheelies .. or this is making more power .. we both think it is just getting used to it again and trying a bit harder .. great .. I'll accept that ..

Smokin thank's for the compliment..Hopfully I will get faster on my bike since I had it worked on..I have now got a ported head,Stock intake on exhaust.web cam on intake,decked head and base gasket off of cylinder..So it should go alot faster..Supposed to dyno about 190 h.p.From what I was told..I have a buddy from Tennesee who had a 03 Busa..Srapped,lowered.air shifter,bde pipe,stk.arm..pump gas he weighs about 155 I think..I seen him go 5:99 1/8,151 60'4:01 330..Most people will not beleive this but I seen it..He is a great rider..On my old 99 I had yosh cam's plus all the mods he had..Fastest I went on it was 6.06 151 60.ft,404 330...Ran cpretty consitent 6:os but nver could go faster than 6:06..I went and looked at a 14 today..The guy wanted 11,700 otd..That is tax,title,license..Sounde pretty high to me...He said he would match the price on any price I get..We will see...

I only have 800 miles. So i hope mine gets faster. Fastest so far 9.48 145. But im 215 lbs and cant ride.

The day will come when all the Busa guys will realize these bikes are considerably faster then they will all have one. Fortunately for me, I learned real fast and got in when the gettin was good. It only took me about 2 ass beatins on my 06 GSXR1k to take notice. Some people just take longer to learn, SLD for short.
SLD; Specific learning disability (SLD) means "a severe learning problem due to a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes involved in acquiring, organizing or expressing information that manifests itself in school as an impaired ability to listen, reason, speak, read, write, spell or do mathematical calculations, despite appropriate instruction in the general education curriculum."

Sad to be the one to tell you smokin, but with a built motor, You would probably only go about 7.90. I know I know. That's not that good but with more seat time, you'll get better.
