I never saw a fork look like that.
This thread made me wonder what ever happened to the guy that claimed his front brake locked up in normal riding..

That guy posted that a bike spike what was laying in the road got stuck in the front tire and jammed in the front fender causing the bike to go down ... He posted a picture of a big spike that the dealer pulled from the front tire .... smokin...

anyone with one brain cell left knows that bike did not break in half from a wheel stand
the damn fork is bent from hitting something, and when it did the frame broke
show me a broke frame with straight forks ? oh yea there are none
there had to be the weight of the bike behind the forks to bend like that
plain and simple
