The above pictures show a failure due to either severe abuse or a crash, no doubt about it in my mind.
I like and trust my 14 and the only thing keeping me from having it a long time is if my wife insists on a C14 to take its place.

No way to prove it so it never should have been posted...Yes he could have posted it but worded differently....Remember Mr Hill has done this before only to find out it was a Hayabusa ...Burn me once shame on me, burn me twice shame on you... I see no place in the post that said F U Mr Hill.....I did call him a Moron and i did PM him and tell him i was sorry for using the word Moron...It was wrong of me to use that word...I still stand by my post that this didn't happen the way it was told to Mr Hill. Here is a picture of a zx14 that i picked up for parts ..This zx14 flipped in a high speed wheely and then went in to a concret ditch ..The frame had a 3 to 4 inch crack by the air filter hole ......But the front end just didn't fall off while in a small wheely....

....what if the rider fell off the back of the bike while under power while attempting to do a wheelie?....and the rider said "oh shit!" as he tried to run after it?....then he fell foward on his knees and forearms because his leg-speed could not keep up with his mind  ...then the bike then crashed riderless into a truck coming from the opposite direction at speed?....and the truck driver was an unlicensed driver who was on probation and had weed in his pocket and didn't want to hang around for the cops?...so the unlicensed driver bugs out...so now the rider takes several months to fomulate his revistionist's history of what actually went down to save face?...and somehow convinced himself and perhaps others that his version of what happened did indeed happen that way he described it and wants sympathy from those foolish enough to give it to him?...and .where's the police report?...there should be one if 1) the crash resulted in an injury of any kind, and 2) if the crash occurred on a public street...or maybe it happened on private property?....or on a public street, but due to an illegal activity?...hmmmm....
...and what's taking the insurance investigators and accident reconstructionists so long to come to a reasonable and plausible conclusion?....hmmmm....
...yeah, I'm making this up...just as much as the rider could've made his story up 
...but the VH vs ZX14 owner's drama is fo'real, yo!

I'm game for this thread... Call it, something in common with the 14 and rider in question. Personally, that frame is like sitting on an, "H" beam they use for sky scrapers. Please, no more tube frames. This is how to make a bike frame and it's just one evolution of many to come.
So, here I am doing a test on a few backups, tuck the wire harness too close to the throttle cable crank wheel (not knowing at the time). The throttle locks half way open. I'm on a stock - subless 14, I'm now on the ground, I haven't a clue what happened? Call it my first attempt at a stunt wheelie gone bad that was, of course, unintentional. I see and hear the bike slide down the freeway, I black out for a moment (who knows when?), wake up, get up, feel myself begin to go into shock because of internal damage (broken foot), who knows how much dermis is shaved off from the cement surface? I see a small hole in the cement guard wall as I walk to the bike. I follow the skid off the wall (or bump off the wall) and follow a trail of cement powder line, gouged from the engine case shaving itself down, and the oil trail moving in a straight line to the bike.
When I had the bike towed to my place, the very first thing I looked at was the neck and weld areas = ZIP! Then I saw the engine case, the bent front wheel, the bent front end... When I saw the wasted cases, I knew the bike was a total.
Let's say the rider in question wore a jacket and jeans, (I basically wore a t-shirt, sweats, sneakers = confident I wouldn't ever crash the 14). That means he was going pretty fast to shave through the jacket and jeans (or chaps/full leathers?)... Either way, the bike got away. This bike took off and he was on the ground sliding as fast, or whatever speed, (that bike was haulin' ass), hit a solid beam the height of the forks, and made the one and only accordion pleat and buckled the frame in said location = SNAP!.
The only person that knew what that bike was doing before he met the ground, who may have seen part of the bike's trajectory into said non-moveable object, (as he was tumbling/sliding and watching it all or part of it/most of it go down)... is the rider. The possible witness to the event, or cause there of, points back to the rider. How fast was the bike going once his hand left the throttle? The bike's speed surely was slowing down (before it snapped in half), is one more question to ask the rider how fast he was moving before the throttle closed. I know I had to have the throttle WOT to rest 1/2 way open on the wire harness... would it not?
As far as knees, I just showed you two knees and an arm. This guy was either moving slower than I, was better protected, or wore what I wore and was going who knows how fast with a controlled throttle that wasn't locked open half way by a tucked in wire loom, (that's for sure).
Why beat up on Mr. Hill when he's just the messenger with the photos and what was relayed to him. Everyone has an opinion, and some can be 100% wrong, or 100% right. Ever sit on a jury? That will open your eyes!
I'm letting Mr. Snap Frame know how my crash went down. If the man has any, "wave-hose" he better pull his sipper down and wave them to the crowd and show us how it went down... STEP BY STEP! Hurt keen my ass! There is no pain to either knee, short of waiting to stretch the new skin in so I can bend my knee normally. Like my new biker tattoos for a 60 year old?

I just saw that pic smokin put up an got an idea for a black naked zx14 haha...
Its just sad that all this will be misenterpeted in the wrong way ....I cant see why the frame would even bend or snap etc from a wheelie,does anyone have the slightest idea how much miles they put on a test mule when they make a new model,fucking heaps i tell you...
The shit i seen our BA fords go through in aus when they were released you wouldnt beleive...
Leave them idling for hours then load them up with a 2 tonne trailer then take them for like a 5 hour spin in 45 degree weather.
Just my 2 cents cuz im bored.and its 6am.

I like VH, however this post is just another attempt to discredit the ZX14 under the cover looking out for the fellow rider. Its not the first time, look at the thread about ZX14's blowing up on the dyno. Its gonna be pretty hard for people to look at his posts objectively, considering his past negative history about the ZX14.
There hasn't been diddly proved here other than he said, she said.
In any case future history will be the proof, and until my front end falls off from a wheelie, I aint gonna worry about it.

It's ok Ed, Vincent just likes to point out anything and everything about a 14 that can or might go wrong.Everybody should give their bikes a idiot check everyonce in awhile and ride with alittle sense. We all have a niche' around here, you, me and alot of other guys around here are dragracers..so as long as we dont hit the wall or can stop before the end of the track i think our frontends will be ok.

We all have a niche' around here, you, me and alot of other guys around here are dragracers..so as long as we dont hit the wall or can stop before the end of the track i think our frontends will be ok.
