This picture is proof the guy is full of shit. A snap caused from coming down from a wheelie wouldn't have the metal bending this way. This shows the front end broke downwards instead of upwards.

Also, if the front end snapped off, shouldn't the headers be all scraped up and fucked all to hell???

I hate motherfuckers that make stupid shit up and blame everyone else but themselves.

No belly landing seen

I wonder if the bike was struck by a fast moving vehicle while it was parked. Car bumbers don't always leave edge marks when striking. The damage just doesn't seem to jive with the accounts of the incident. I would think that there would be more scrape damage. The headers and other parts are too intact to suggest a belly landing at speed. Thats just my 2 cents... I am not looking to get beat over it.

And, oh by the way, Fess Up and take it like a MAN - YOU made a mistake and you trashed your bike - BIG DEAL! You are alive - perhaps albeit disgraced too - but have a drink and celebrate and go buy yourself a new bike. You can always buy a jet ski and you can go reallllllll fast too - but you can still kill yourself doing stupid things with a jetski too.

If this happened doing a wheelie, then why are the front forks bent to hell. I've landed many wheelies and my frame didn't break, nor are my forks bent. The damage on this bike was caused my something way way more catastrophic than some damn wheelie and slide..

And why aren't their more reports of this, go to be more than 1 person doing a wheelie..

This whole thread smells of B.S.

If you assume he's lying and he hit something in a front impact, then, without damage to the wheel rim, it indicates a very low velocity.

So even if it wasn't a wheelie, that frame broke fucking easy! Interesting!

front end missin eh...

Take it to your dealer and request Kawi inspect it...
They are no fools. They can tell you exactly what the hell happened.
In my line of business I am always on the look out for a scam.
I have seen alot and heard alot. Not much suprises me anymore.
I do not believe Kawi has a frame problem. If they did more of us would be in the ditch or dead at the speeds we are traveling.

I really hate slander where it is not deserved.

They put together a rockin package.
If you screwed up suck it up. I hope you had insurance...

It's total bullshit. He's saying the forks hit a truck after it split. If that was the case, the handle bars should have been on the ground with the wheel leading the way. Forks wouldn't have the dent/bend that it does.

Is it the 06 steel frame or the 07 aluminum frame ?

If you look carefully that is in actuality a frame for a pre production concours14. that is why the release of the Connie14 is so late. The guys back in Japan are feverishly trying to weld it back together in time to make next winters motorcycle show. btw, the frame is made out of unobtainium, lol.

Vincent, this frame is broken very similiar to Doug Meyers ZX11 that Nick Ianatch crashed at sear Point some years ago. Nick downshifted when he thought he was upshifting and crashed, tearing the bike into and landing on his elbows. He had to have his elbows stapled if I remember correctly. Very similiar to this riders injurys.

without a video of the event it is pretty hard to say much of anything. Even an eye witness account can be wrong. i am not disputing your BS claim . it is possible that you have seen accidents before where the wheel lead the way but weird things happen during accidents

True! But there's no rash or anything on that front end that would back up Homeboy's story.

Why do you guys even bother responding to this bullshit. It's obviously just another frivolous lawsuit. Oh ,oh, my bike just broke in half, honest I was just riding it. pfffffttt !
I think Vincent probably tried to do a rake job on that 14 and these were the results.

I got so scared after reading these posts I took my bike into the back yard and put a 357 round into the rear fender. The engine sputtered a painful death then died. A funeral service was held at 1800 hours. I played "taps" on my electric guitar as the sun went down over the moutains tops. It was so moving my dog was weeping. I recanted my 13 times at over 184 mph. and wondered were the Gods looking down on me? Did I have the only bike that was put together right? Was I that close in meeting the great motogp driver in the sky?????

Nawwww.... I picked up my bike...
and put it back in the garage for another day of going fast!

I don't think this conspiracy theory holds up to analysis!

Theres alot of info about this damage thats missing.

It should not of been posted as is...it will only do harm to kwaks reputation.

IMO Vince posted the info with good intentions.

IMO the net result will be Bad Ju-Ju for Kwaks.in particular the Z14's.

Not Good.
