my impression of 06 vs 07 muzzy vs brock

finally got the bike on tuesday after installing the brock street megaphone and p/c 3 and no flies. my 06 had same modification except i had muzzy c/f slip on and 16/42 gear rather than stock 17/41. this is my observation:
1. bike totally looks different with full system specially megaphone rather than than slip on.
2. wow that brock system sound great, loud as hell, looks like time for ear plug!
3. i felt like i had more low rpm power and torque in my 06 vs. 07 but again the bike only has 200 miles on it and on top of that i had a16/42 gear on 06, that should make a difference.
4. hardly have any pops from exhaust system, so that is a big difference, 06 pop alot!
5. my 07 runs alot cooler than my 06 , stop at red lites many times never went as high as middle indicator, that was not the case with my 06.
6. just can not get enough of looking at that black color, guys this bike sure looks good, getting a lot of complement on it. i think that brock street mega looks good with black color.

16/42 will make a huge difference.

I have same bike and mods except '06, and have ran 16/41 and stock 17/41.
I will never run the 17 tooth again.
For street riding 16 tooth is much more, repsonsive and fun!
Top end is still plenty fast to walk any liter bike with stock gears.

Sounds badass indeed! Unfortunately my flies are still in, I'm still breaking it in (just hit 300 miles yesterday). I've heard some nightmare stories of some people with regards to KHI and warranty issues, so I'm gonna play it safe and confirm that my dealer wont give me problems if I do it. Kinda unfortunately think that they will tell me they will honor it so long as they do the work...I'll know once it's in for it's 600 mi service I guess.

p.s. No chickenstrip comments, when I took this pic, I had 50 miles on the bike..

Kaw must've re-calibrated the temp. gauge for '07, if there is that much difference...

Hey Shawnski....that sure looks nice.....Got a few questions...did you get the plug/silencer with that?...and if so whats your opinion on the sound with the plug in? Can you actually feel the difference in the power with plug in? Last one..... Do you have to run different map's with the plug installed vs. un-plugged? Just throwing those questions out there...
