how did i do
took my 14 out to the 1/8 mile track today in lagrange. it was my first time ever hitting the dragstrip. my brother rides a busa and a gsxr 1100. he took his 1100 out today just to show me the ropes. so i would like to share my times with you guys and would like a little feedback on them. my first pass was 8.1039 @ 76.55 mph. second was 7.7260 @ 103.43mph. my third and final pass was 7.5618 @ 101.78. i only got three runs today cause i got there late. let me know how my times rank for someones first time. thanks.

Dude, the fact that you went down the track and your bike is in one piece is a good first time. I'm not fast but i sure have a lot of fun out there. I came off of the KZ's with bars and all the rest of the goodies and I don't think I have won a race yet, but the challenge is so much greater I don't mind not winning, I just try to improve each time I go. Its also a lot more fun riding back from the finish line and then hanging out insead of my old routine of towing the bike back and then trying to fix what I just broke in time for the next round. Don't let anybody tell you what you should be running, seat time is the only way any of us get better. Good luck and enjoy!
