GP pro series stands
Hello all just wondering if anyone uses this brand of stands. I seen them on ebay and was wondering if they are a smart buy. Please help! They are made by a company called gpi industries.

I use Vortex stands. Love 'em. I prefer them over any brand. Ya, people bust my chops because Vortex products (stands, sprockets, rearsets, etc) cost a few cents more but you know the deal....
here's my stands:

look at a pit bull stand too. the rear stands handle goes towards the front of the bike, many worried about room tend to like that and the stand is priced decent

Yes, but you have to make sure to buy the "forward handle" rear stand, not their regular rear stand. I *love* mine, it beats the rear-handle stand in so many ways.

I love the Pit Bull forward handle rear stand. Very easy to lift the bike. Here's a link to a pic.

Alright I am a DIE HARD Vortex fan. I like every product they make including rear sets, race sprockets, and especially their awesome race stands.
But you all talked me into a forward handle pitbull stand for the 14. Its on the way. Hopefully it works so good I don't mind seeing it next to the front and rear VORTEX stands holding the race bike up in the garage :P

You'll love it Steve........................... I have Pit Bull stands for all our bikes. The forward handle has some advantages such as being able to hold on to the handlebar to balance the bike. And like swft said the handle isn't sticking out a foot past the back of the bike for me to trip over. ( I would need a calcualtor count how many times I have tripped over mine.........)

Thanks Wardbird
I'm taking everyone's word for it- I talked to my local parts man today and he said "the VORTEX rear stand now comes with a handle that just pops off and out the way, is powder coated, and cheaper"
and I said "let me do the forward pit bull anyway this time"

Well THAT'S a good idea .................I'd love to be able to remove the handles off my stands. Heck........you could by 4 stands and one handle............would have to cost less that way.

Steve.........you should have one of these Baxley Sport-Chock's for the race track. When you pull off the track worn out from all the fun............you don't need anyone or anything to help with the bike. Just ride right into the chock, get off the bike and get something out of the cooler...........

WARBIRD thanks for the race stand tip, but someone is always there to pick the track bike up on the stands in the pits. Dayum that stand is nice though!
Pit Bull was ordered for the 14 yesterday. I had to fly to Tulsa and hopefully when I'm back in FL Friday it'll be waiting
And the fella I do beusiness with locally even said the new Vortex stand the handle comes right off and is out of the way.... I still insisted on Pit Bull because of what I've read
