Wish us luck . We are going to need it !!!
Today Steddyteddy and myself are heading to Sunshine speedway ( 1/8 mile track ) for a head up maddness race ...Rules for the Bikes are 70 inch wheel base , DOT tire and pro tree heads up.. .. That's it !!! anything else goes !!! Take a guess who wrote the rules for this race  ... We will be running with the fastest Turbo bikes in the country, Johnny Turbos Turbo Busa and the 500+ hp Joker Busa ...Both these bikes can and do run 7s in the 1/4 mile , thank god we are only running the 1/8 mile...1/8 mile gives us a chance because the turbo bikes don't realy come on till the back half of the 1/4 mile ...These turbo bikes have a realy hard time with traction and wheelies and while their MPH is high in the 1/8 mile the ETs are in the zone of my zx14...So can the underdog zx14 pull off a win?? Hell if i know but they will know they were in a race cause i'm not giving anything away .....I'm going to make them work for it !!!! Wish us luck because we will need it ..I will post the outcome late tonight or Sat in the AM .. Smokin...

Me too, I was there earlier and he had the second fastest time but I left before the finals. I say he either won it or maybe got second.
I did get to see a wild pro mod car crash. A car in the right lane got sideways and crossed the center line at a 90 degree angle and as he hit the left guard rail head on the mustang in the left lane smashed into his rear quarter panel full speed and spun this car around and it exploded. It would have made a great youtube video.

Hey guys i did not win but i took Second place !! Not bad seeing that the bike i raced and lost to was a drag bike and not even close to a street bike ....05 gixer with an 1170 motor on a big wet shot .. The bike was 70 inches long and had a silder clutch ... Trick light weight wheels with lots of carbon fiber parts... A street bike with no tag and open sidewinder pipe !!! lol...The bike has been 7.90s ..... So much for the rules .... Anyway i had a blast and very happy to pull off a second place finish ..... smokin...

Hell yeah! Now that's what I'm talking about smoke. Can't wait till I get back. I got something for that ass when they come with the big nos shooters. How close was the race and how did teddy do? What ever went on with the turbo Busa boys?

Traction? what traction... Everybody was spinning...I got down to 8 psi and still spun on the top end ....

Teddy didn't bring his bike , he wished he had because he would have done well .. I got killed on the last race .. I had a 1.41 and had the guy covered to the 330 mark then I started spinning ...I only ran 122 MPH because i spun so hard...He would have beaten be anyway with the numbers he was running ... He was 5.40 @ 141 MPH on a few runs...

Bently first run i wheelied almost the hole track 5.74 ... second run spun first gear and part of second 5.68... runs 3 and 4 spun bad 5.80s.. last run spun hard in second a third 5.74.... The track was bad and it was so cold and windy it just plan sucked for everyone there...It was killing me because i knew i could run low 5.50s if the track was working ...

Still good times. Hell those are outstanding times. How in the hell do you wheelie and still run below 5.9? Smokin are you really stock. J/K Why in the hell haven't you went pro? You are a bad man for real. You are spinning and still killing it. Come on now? If you had a bad spin and still pulled a 5.6, Just imagine what would have happened if you hooked up. Can anybody say 5.49 at least. I know you could have dropped at least a 10th. AT LEAST

The event is held the first Sat of every month. The first 2 this year were rained out. I'm working on a chain alignment issue and wasn't really ready to run last night. Besides that I knew there was little to no chance of getting in the money. I need another 30 to 40 hp, which I'm working on.
