Yeah everyone that i've found so far has the pipe sticking out the fairing.

I did a "shortie pipe" and the full exhaust.

I will see way more street time than drag strip.

My limitation will be the weather. I've gotten caught in the rain on the ZRX before
and just took it easy with no problems. The Rexs air filter was even lower and
more prone to weather !

Besides ....... Rain and Boost dont mix well

I SEE WHAT UR SAYING ON THE ZRX

I guest i'l just have to get some flex pipe and move the filter to a more out of the weather spot ....

Ran the bike tonight, but did not have the oil drain proper....oops...............big ol cloud in the shop :-)

Sounds good.............through the pipes it is very nice.......quieter than before just a bit, but I'll have to see how it sounds at full throttle :-)

Now i am confused i thought with the pipe option it was an either or option. Bob i see youhave both. whats the deal wiht that. Is it in essence you have two exhaust release points. I though a turbo ran off exhaust so that is why you generally had a sprecial header that had to be bolted on to the engine and then the turbo to that and what ever plumbing there after......

The left will get a little more attention and will get a bit closer to the bike, but the right is done.

I got about as much clearance as I hoped I would with the turbo so low. The filter does not stick out the side at all and there is just a notch in the front for it to fit in. The exhaust pipe does not stick out far enough to drag too easily and I made sure that the exhaust would stick out and not the air filter. The reason is that since we ride in the right lane in the US that the right turns tend to be with less lean than lefts where the turn lasts longer.......check your rear tire and you may see the slight diff - which is a greater diff the higher up on the bike....where the pipe comes out.

You may notice that the left black inner fairing is out for now.....and the filter got dirty .....damn ....

Took a short ride......wastegate let the boost creep over 4psi (I saw the 4 and a few other digits for an instant before letting off) - spring is 3.63 psi. . I will have to use the electronic controller to hold it down if I want to keep it low. Timing is still non-retarded and the PC cannot keep up ......the new pump and regulator are next.
