A few buddies of mine give me hell about having dirty ass wheels I asked them if they knew how fast this thing would accelerate then have to slow down.

Question: am I the only guy here who has a habit on back country or mountain roads of keeping the speeds safe n sane on the long straights (cops love to radar trap the straights..) just to come up on the next corner, nail the gas to get up enough speed to just haul it back down a split second later, all so that I can simulate the braking into turning experience I so love? I love going fast, too, but most times its just not the right place for it. But I've never seen a cop set up a radar trap in the middle of a corner... yet...

I just have a serious problem with lazy braking coming up to a corner. I get as much a rush out of the "off gas brake NOW. Harder... force body into position for the corner... almost there... let up and snap turn NOW!" as I do out of the cornering itself. It's such a chess game to get the bike to the correct speed and turned in at the right time when hard braking that I cant honestly understand why people would enter a corner any other way. Unless they are noobs and are still learning how to aggressively ride still. Hell, half the adrenaline rush of cornering is when you enter the corner too hot and gotta trail brake into full lean, or enter too slow so you early apex and gas it hard enough to step the backend out on purpose.

id love to see you 'highside' me. really, i would. all i did was point out your long rambling posts about how youre such a superb rider and how your 14 squashes anything on the road. if you didnt live on the other side of the country, id take you out on a very humbling ride. some people get tired of hearing keyboard racers and their paragraphs of bragging.

BAAAAHAHAAHAHAAA! You're shitting me, a purple chrome paintjob?! Not that I give a shit what someone wants to paint there bike, but damn...

I never said I was the best, or even close to it. And my bike, with my big ass on it, has all it can handle keeping up with the newer 1000's with lighter riders. Hell, I just spent a shit load of money on it just so I could even say I "keep up" with them in a straightline! My weight and size are a disadvantage that I work very hard at overcoming. The few guys around here that can beat me don't run there mouths. Take the hint.

Note I said "around here". As I've said NUMEROUS TIMES, I'm a 'big fish in a small pond', and I have never claimed to be anything better than a Good Rider. You, on the other hand, have a inferiority complex. They make penis pumps if thats your problem...

I made sure to use at least 4 paragraphs this time just to remind you of that one time a teacher made you read a book that didnt have pictures. That must have really pissed you off, huh?

lol, i have to throw that one in there every chance i get. He knows it's all in good fun, and will most likely have a witty response to it. Sadly, his 12 probably has more hp than most of our 14's.

No doubt if he owns his own shop, but on the road all that hot, high pressure air coming out the front of his helmet would offset any HP advantage.

"muzzys full carbon exhaust AND muzzys megaphone" ??? Thats some funny looking carbon fiber.

As bigdtd pointed out, whats up with that big area in front of the gas cap? Don't recall seeing that on any other 12R's, though I've only seen a few of them.

Thanks for throwing in the SAE and uncorrected dyno pulls. Most guys woulda just posted whichever one was higher. I notice you didn't post any internal engine mods. That mean bore n stroke with porting? Or "something along those lines"?
