threads being moved

Hey guys a lot of threads are being moved into forums where people don't even post-up

These threads are then lost forever, never to be seen or responded to again. Here is an example of a kick-azz thread that was doing great in here among us but was moved to "sportbike zone", I had to laugh when I saw it there. I then let it sit and watched zero replies, couldn't stand it any more, and replied myseld. here is the example thread: http://www.bikeland.org/board/viewthread.php?FID=24&TID=28740&pagenumber=2

It seems some mods absolutely cannot determine if a thread is MEANT for the regulars in ZX14.com, but do not fear there is a simple way to resolve that

If your new post is intended to be read by the folks in here, DO NOT just post "my GSXR750 sportbike curves so hard!". Instead, ALWAYS reference the ZX14 bike

So to avoid confusing mods on bikeland, that same post would better be written "my GSXR750 sportbike corners so hard!!!, althought the ZX14 is a nice cornering bike in comparison too!" This way the mods will have a clue that yes, this thread is meant to be read by ZX14 owners, and is NOT meant to be put in a forum where noone, absolutely noone, ever frequents (except stevewfl for a good laugh).

So folks- these mods that find moderating quite complicated and cause decreased traffic on the bikeland forums, please help them out. When posting in here at least address "ZX14" once in your thread.

Another example, if you are b*tchin' to the folks in here ZX14.com about the high price of milk, don't confuse the mods into moving the thread into the smackhouse for you and your ZX14 cliquue to never see again, post your point and add "but ZX14 gas is high too!"

Its just that simple, and the some of the mods need your help

Now, hopefully the mods will understand this belongs in ZX14.com. It should be stickied along with "tips for posting pics" and "how to use google to search" and such too

Steve, how does anything about a GSXR750 have in common with a ZX14? if your doing a compairo.. then say GSXR vs ZX14 in the corners...
and just so you know, I spoke with Swft, and we are going to do some Mirroring with the DBZ... that should increase the traffic for all dragracing related threads...

I'm not movin' them... curious as to what's moved and when/why...

we do, however, have many other sections of this site that deal with other subjects.

...does this stay here or go to the smackhouse?

+1 Mike

I think mirroring may be great solution - that way the thread can be addressed by the crowd it was posted too AND the crowd it may better apply to! Increase traffic instead of diminish it

Its funny looking at all the threads that were smoking hot and now seeing them in not-so-used forums!

hey hey easy the 750/ZX14 was just a sarcastic example but the point was made....then again I saw some folks post about the gixxer 1000 being tough compared to the 14. But thats not what I've seen on our Gandy bridge

I see what steve is getting at. The thing is that most threads are posted here from the zx14 family and want input on them but are worded wrong I guess. Just like the video I posted of the guy almost killing himself at the dragstrip. Now I got that video from dragbike and it was moved back to the dragbike forum. 2 videos in the same forum. STUPID! Now it clearly stated that "I got this video from the dragbike forum and wanted to share it with the guys from zx14 especially Smokin! Well I guess that wasn't observed so my question is do they even read them before they move the freeking things?
